UGC RECOGNITION FOR NCN

From ancient Bharat to modern India, higher education has always occupied a place of prominence in Indian history. University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body set up by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India. It provides recognition to universities in India, and disbursements of funds to such recognized universities and colleges.

Nehru College of Nursing promoted by Nehru Educational and Charitable Trust left an indelible mark on bringing up Curricular, Co-curricular and extracurricular activities. These ventures help the students to evolve into truly global nursing professional standard and attire of dynamicity as gratified citizens. Nehru college of Nursing is recognized by UGC under section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 in this year 2022. .Even though Nehru college of Nursing is a small institution dealing with BSc Nursing; we were able to make our own signature in all fields that the education sector dictates in this modern era. This is really a great recognition & proud moment for  Nehru College of nursing & another crown for the entire Nehru group of Institutions
