“ NO TO DRUGS “ – Antidrug campaign 2022
“Narcotic substance abuse not only takes a toll on individual, but also families & social relationships besides affecting the country. Kerala has declared a war on drugs. The state launched a massive antidrug movement called ‘NO TO DRUGS ‘.
Nehru College of nursing NSS Unit conducted an awareness campaign about drug abuse and illicit trafficking among youngsters on Nov 1st 2022. Our 2nd year BSc Nursing students have participated in the campaign and form a human chain as the declaration of war against drugs. Dr. Kavithamol P.J Principal Nehru College of Nursing inaugurated the campaign and given an awareness message against substance abuse to the students. This was followed by an oath against drug abuse given by Dr.Binu Babu (Professor Dept of Medical Surgical Nursing ) and symbolically drugs were burnt. Young people are assets to the community & can help alleviate or eradicate the possibility of drug abuse.
