WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY -2022
Mental health has come a long way since the early nineties when the World Federation of Mental Health (WFMH) officially established the day. World Mental Health Day is on October 10 and as our understanding of mental health grows, we grow along with it. Our self-awareness and sensitivity towards it have changed things for the better. The theme of mental health day 2022 is ‘Make mental health & wellbeing for all a global priority
With regards to Mental health day NSS unit & Mental health nursing department of NCN conduct quiz competition related ‘Lahari Muktha Keralam ‘ in the campus and also conduct a poster competition in our parent hospital P K Das Institute of Medical Science on Oct 10th 2022. 3 students participated in poster competition.13 students participated in unit level quiz competition conducted by NSS unit. In that Blessy Biju (2nd year BSc Nursing) got first prize & was selected for District level competition of NSS unit. This quiz competition helped to give more information to students related to anti-drug campaigns of the government and different programs of the government to prevent drug addiction and protect the people from the problems related to drug addiction.
