The most fervent Sportsday of Lakkidi Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology, Oorjah 1.0, has been successfully inaugurated on 16th February by Dr Sivasankara Kaimal, a retired athlete and coach, who is also the former HoD of Physical Education Department in Calicut University, in the presence of Dr V. P. Sukumaran Nair, Principal of Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology and all department heads. Oorjah 1.0 can be marked as one of the most scintillating and sensational events with lots of remarkable and awe-inspiring moments that has ever happened in the history of Nehru Group of Institutions.
