Nehru Arts and Science College celebrated 68 th Republic Day
‘The foundations laid through our Constitution were adopted on 26 January 1950, which we celebrate each year as Republic Day. Its driving principle was a compact between state and citizen, a powerful public-private partnership nourished by justice, liberty and equality’.

Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College welcomed the gathering.
Dr. D. Michael Lenin, Chairman, RKV CBSE School was the Chief Guest of the day. He stressed the necessity of following the foot print of our Patriots. He emphasized that India is a nation of ‘Unity in Diversity’. As we all know that this is 67th republic day of our Country and we must bear in mind those Freedom fighter who fight for our nation. In events like this we have to remember them. He states that through responsive and innovative venture capital systems and entrepreneurial training both in schools and colleges, we will have more enterprises leading to a large number of employment generators rather than employment seekers.
Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO and Secretary NGI in his presidential address highlighted the importance of being a good citizen with the vigour of patriotism. He insisted that the unity as an Indian Citizen irrespective of financial status, religion, color and creed. He states that the optimistic trend blows many young people, opting for creating new enterprises instead of being mere employees. This reflects that we are marching towards the high status in the world. He also emphasized that students were the heart of our nation and they must be trained with transformation of knowledge to action with patriotism. He suggested that in the 21st century, India needs a large number of talented youth with higher education for the task of knowledge acquisition, knowledge imparting, knowledge creation and knowledge sharing.
Cultural Programs of students expressed their patriotic feeling in dynamic Perceptions. The Function concluded with National Anthem.
