Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences hosted its 10th Graduation Day today at its college campus. The graduation ceremony was presided by Dr P Krishnakumar, CEO and Secretary of the Nehru Group of Institutions (NGI). He declared the graduation day open.
Dr P R Balaji, Principal, Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences delivered the welcome address and he also read out the
academic report of this college. In his address to the graduates he said
“Academic degree is a milestone in career. However, a degree is not enough. You must all aim at building your skills and abilities. There
is plenty of opportunity available in the aviation industry. Dream big and work towards achieving your dreams. On this day, I have just
two things to share with you young graduates. One thing is the process of learning must not stop as it is a life-long process and secondly
do not forget your alma mater. Stay connected with your college and the teachers.”
Chief guest, Dr. S. Subbiah, Vice Chancellor, Alagappa University, handed over degree certificates to one hundred students. The rank holders of the various departments were presented with a medal, certificate and a cash reward. In his address to the students, Dr. S.Subbiah said “Dear graduates, your parents by their great sacrifices have enabled you to become graduates. Your parents gave everything to you to make you a graduate. Hence, it is time to show your gratitude to them. You must reciprocate their unconditional love for you through your services to them.”
Professor Muthuswamy and professor Singaravadivelu of this college, teaching, non teaching staff and students of this college participated in the ceremony.
