FRESHER’S DAY 2023
“Freshers’ day 2023” welcoming ceremony of UG Freshers to the academic year 2023-2024 was solemnized by Nehru Arts and Science College on 28/06/2023. Fresher were given warm welcome by the Management, all the members of faculty and senior students.
Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College delivered the welcome address. He advocated the freshers to engage themselves in all the activities of the college to get practical exposure in their domain.
Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Chairman & Managing Trustee, NGI presided over the function. In his presidential address he greeted the students and expressed his hearty welcome for the freshers. In addition he motivated the students to swear themselves to be the good citizen and the best human being in the society. He insisted them to have a civic sense and aim for the highest reach to attain the pinnacle of success in their future.
In his inaugural address Chief Guest, Dr. Anbuthambi. B, Head-Strategy & Emerging Tech- L&T Edutech, Chennai motivated the students to set goal and work to achieve their ambition.
The Guest of Honour Charles Godwin. P, HR Leader and Public Speaker, Zoho Corporation, India encouraged the students to enjoy the college time and to work towards their goals and love learning and importance of hard work and perseverance in education to achieve the goal.
Sajana. C.S, Consultant, Infosys Limited, Chennai and one alumna was the Special Guest of the Day. She portrayed her reminiscence and growth she attained at Nehru Arts and Science College.
Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary, NGI in his felicitation expressed his warm welcome to the freshers. He wanted the youngsters to work towards their goals and love learning the importance of hardwork to attain their future goal.
