College day:Ecstasy 2.0

Every student of any major have dreams of a College life filled with fun, excitement and explorations. College day is one such event that challenges the students in extracurricular activities, a stage to showcase their talents and win prizes/ awards as a token of acknowledgement.

Ecstasy 2.0 was organised by the Faculty and Students of NSA with the support of the NGI management and sister concerns. The students from several colleges under NGI and other architecture colleges in and around Coimbatore where invited and had participated.

The event began in the morning at 10.30 am with prayer dance, welcome address and Kalari performance from the students of NSA. Following it the competitions had begun, filled with joy, energy, team spirit and enthusiasm all the participants competed in the on- spot competitions.

At 3.00 pm the event officially was inaugurated by the Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary along side Mr. K.J.Iyenar, Singer and Dr. Amrutha, Director, NSA. The inauguration successfully was completed by lighting the lamp, prayer song and followed by the Presidential address, Welcome address and Felicitation address.

Later the cultural completions began, students from several colleges competed with each other with zeal and determination in several events such as Fashion show, Dance – Group and Solo, Song – Group and Solo, Short film, Reels, Mime and Talent show. The chief guest then went on performing, mesmerizing in his charm and voice, the crowd enjoyed every second of his presence on and off the stage.

Winding up the event prizes, momentous and certificates were distributed by the Chief guest Mr. K.J.Iyenar, Director of NSA Dr. Amrutha and HoD of NSA Ar. Muhil on stage. The cheer, claps and joy blew the roof off. The event ended with the DJ performance.
