  • Investiture Ceremony started with Flag Hoisting Chief guest Wing Commander Nithin Subramaniam (FP),Commanding Officer 2TN Air Sqn. NCC, Hoisted the national flag, followed by Tamil Thai Valthu & Prayer song.

This quote speaks volumes about our respected Principal of Nehru College of Engineering and Technology, Dr. P Maniiarasan sir who inspires us with his exemplary lifestyle as a leader holding many responsible positions in the society.,addressed the gathering with his words of wisdom.

  • Chief Guest Address

“A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.”

The Chief guest of the day, wing commander Nithin Subramaniam, to led the way for our young minds. An alumnus of National Defense Academy and Air Force Academy, he has served in 3 helicopter units on the frontline of Indo-Chinese and Indo- Pak borders.

Before taking over the command of 2TN Air Sqn NCC Coimbatore in February last year,  a helicopter pilot commissioned in IAF in 2000 motivated the gathering. 

  • Inaugurating House flags and Logos

Architect Dr.Amrutha Sachin, Nehru School of Architecture inaugurated the house flags and logos.

“AQUA – THE BLUE HOUSE”

The color blue defines serenity and continuous flow of inspiration. The blue color symbolizes the freedom of thoughts and expression.

The motto of the house is “Believe and succeed.”

“IGNIS – THE RED HOUSE”

The red color signifies creation, energy and power. It denotes purity, joy and celebration. It encourages action and confidence.

The motto of the house is “Always aim high.”

“TERRA – THE GREEN HOUSE”

The green color signifies harmony, wellbeing and prosperity. It denotes nature, health, fertility and safety.

The motto of the house is “To inspire and achieve.”

“VENTUS – THE YELLOW HOUSE”

The yellow color signifies optimism and creativity. It denotes abundance, brightness and energy.

The motto of the house is “Souring into Excellence.”

  • The dignitaries honoured the Vice Captain Adarshini P.C of grade VII of the Aqua House with badge and sash.
  • The dignitaries to honoured the Captain Kanishka SA of Grade VIII of the Ignis House with badge sash and flag.
  • The dignitaries to honoured the Vice Captain Ranjana KG of Grade VII of the Ignis House with badge and sash.
  • The dignitaries to honoured the Captain Rituparna Ramdas of Grade VIII of the Terra House with badge sash and flag.

  • A Prefect is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. Here we have our four prominent House prefects. Headmistress Mrs. Priya Suresh Mam to honoured all the Prefects from grade III to VI.

Taking an oath involves making a solemn promise in public in a manner that invokes a divine being. It is just more than just making a promise to yourself or to another person. A person is expected to comply with any oath they take regarding their future behavior.The head boy,

Our ever charming, zestful and high-spirited Architect Dr.Amrutha Sachin, Nehru School of Architecture is a champion born to inspire her learners to never give up and to face all adversities with the weapon of education.

She is an eminent educator known for creating open minded, creative and strong individuals through the process of education.
