Republic day celebrations – Nehru College of Nursing

Every year on January 26, proud citizens of India mark Republic Day with much grandeur and enthusiasm. This year, the country is celebrating its 74th Republic Day on Thursday. The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950.

With regards to Republic day 2023 on Jan 26^th, Nehru College of Nursing organized a series of events which included the grand parade showcasing the nation’s tradition, cultural heritage, progress and achievements. Mrs Sumitha Krishnadas Management representative hoisted the flag & addressed the gathering & emphasized about the countless sacrifices of our freedom fighters and vow to make this country a better place. Prof Priya Mary Stella vice principal NCN conveyed republic day messages & wishes to the gathering. After those prestigious events, every pillar and wall of the college reverberated with patriotic song by the students; they stand proud and gave respect to our nation. In this Republic Day, our students made a promise that they will not let the hard sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters go in vain & they will work hard to make our country the best in the world.
