LAMPLIGHTING & PASSING OUT CEREMONY 2022

Lamp lighting & Passing out ceremony both are the most important mile stones in a student nurse’s life. The lamp lighting ceremony formally recognizes the students’ entry into the nursing profession, passing out ceremony is this wonderful day when a student receive degree upon completion of studies. Nehru College of nursing one of the best nursing colleges in Kerala, always supporting & uplifting the students in their ups & downs & stood for the rights of students all the time ,  arranged a grand Lamp lighting for the 10th batch students & passing out ceremony for the 4th, 5th & 6th batch students on 8th JUNE 2022 at LACHOOS auditorium Vaniyamkulam.

The program officially started by the procession of NCC candidates followed by dignitaries, head of the departments, the graduates & the lamp lighting 1st year students. Dr. Kumari Haripriya O B, (Vice principal NCN) welcomed the gathering, following that all the dignitaries lightened the lamp & officially inaugurated the ceremony. Our honorable Chairman & managing Trustee Adv Dr. P Krishnadas   gave the presidential address. Annual report of Nehru college of Nursing for the academic 2021-2022 was presented by Dr. Kavitha mole P J( Principal NCN.)  Prof. Dr. C P Vijayan ,( Pro Vice Chancellor KUHS)  executed the  chief guest for the passing out ceremony , addressed the gathering & done the honoring of graduates.

This was followed by the lamp lighting session for which Mrs. Ushadevi , (President KNMC)  executed as chief guest , addressed the gathering & delivered a motivating speech & enlightened the 10th batch 1st year students by lighting the candle which symbolizes the flame of hope, service, compassion and peace & a new beginning. The students Vowed to work by following the principles & ideas of nursing by taking the pledge recited by Mrs. Ushadevi , (President KNMC). This session was followed by the felicitation of Dr. R C Krishnakumar    (Director operations PKDIMS) ,  Mrs. Sumitha Krishnadas ( Management Representative NGI ) Dr. P D Sebastian ( Director. Nehru Law Academy) Dr. K Radhakrishnan (Academic Advisor, NGI). After that prize distribution was done for the academic excellence of graduates & also for the competitions conducted on behalf of international nurse’s day. Dr. Binu Babu ( Asso Prof NCN ) officially expressed the token of gratitude. The program adjourned with the national anthem.
