Passing out ceremony of AME 87 & 88 batches

Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences, Coimbatore conducted passing out function of AME 87 & 88 batches in a grand manner. A total of 60 students, the first lot to pass out as per the new international requirements & standards of CAR 147 (Basic) have successfully completed the prestigious course.

Our proud alumni Mr. Jyothis Gopalakrishnan Nair who belongs to our 1st batch of AME course was the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs Manju Jyothis. Presently he is working as the Chief Engineer in Singapore Airlines, Changi International Airport, Singapore.

Our Training Manager Mr. A. Ramesh Babu welcomed the gathering and extended the greetings to the students. Honorable CEO & Secretary Dr.P. Krishna Kumar presided over the function. The function was felicitated by the Dean Academic Affairs Dr. P.R. Balaji, and Vote of thanks proposed by Deputy Training Manager Mr. M. Jagadeesan.

Having 35 years of Aviation experience with 5 major Airline companies across the globe, the Chief Guest could inspire and motivate the gathering. He appreciated the facilities and standards presently available in the campus. He had all the praise for his instructors, especially the founder Chairman the late P.K. Das, who was a mentor and teacher for him. He has cherished his wonderful memories and the main advice of our Founder Chairman: ‘focus and focus on the mission’. He was very proud to declare that what he is today is because of his alma mater.

Certificates, mementos and cash prizes were given away to the meritorious students for their achievements in the academics and excellent performance in the DGCA examinations.

Lunch was served to all the students and parents who have attended the function.

It was an unforgettable day not only for the chief guest and proud alumni but also for the present students and faculties & management too !!!!
