International Seminar on Global Management Strategies
Department of Business Administration of Nehru Arts and Science College organised a one day International Seminar on Global Management Strategies on 23.01.2020 at the college Premises.
Dr.P.Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions in his presidential address stressed the need to understand the rapidly growing and evolving field of Global Business.In addition, he appreciated the student participants from various colleges and wished them to be successful in their future endeavors.
Prof.Dr.Abhijith Ghosh , Dean- Faculty of Business and Accountancy , Lincoln University College , Malaysia was the chief Guest of the day.He spoke about the Global Business Strategies and its varied uses in the competitive global market.
Dr.B.Anirudhan , Principal Nehru Arts and Science College delivered the Keynote address. He emphasized about the importance of participating and presenting in the International Seminars and Conferences. Further , he encouraged everyone to apply strategy concepts in real life to emerge as a successful business person.
Ms.Thivyah , Founder and Managing Director Of NAST was the special guest of the day. Being a successful Corporate Trainer , she educated on the need for developing softskills and Teamspirit. She did encourage everyone to follow the follow the business ethics and empower themselves to attain success.
Department newsletter was released by the CEO & Secretary of NGI and the first copy was received by Prof. Dr.Abhijith Ghosh , the chief guest of the day.
Three MoUs were signed with EDUTEK College of Management, Nepal, Kingston Institute of Management & Technology,Bangladesh and Tashi Namgay Grand Hotel, Bhutan.
The inaugural session came to an end with the vote of thanks by Dr.N.Shani , Asso.Prof & Head, Department of BBA.
