NGI Excellence Award 2020 & Inaugural of Nehru International School
Nehru Group of Institutions organized an inaugural of Nehru International School (CBSE) & NGI Excellence Award 2020 on 10.01.2020 at P.K. Das Auditorium, T.M. Palayam, and Coimbatore.
Nehru Group of Institutions, which has been rendering its noble service in the field of higher education for 52 years in both Tamilnadu and Kerala, is stepping into school education now.
Inaugural Ceremony of the International school (CBSE) was held at Kaliapuram with the chief guest SRI. PERIAIAH, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Coimbatore. REV. FR. PAULRAJ, Principal, Carmel Garden Matriculation School, Coimbatore was the guest of honour. Special awards were also given to staff by this group for their extraordinary service for a decade in NGI.
Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, NASC welcomed the gathering. He greeted all Nehru Excellence Awardees’ and congratulated them for their achievements. He wished them good luck in all their endeavours. He said that it would be a big day in the history of Nehru Group of Institutions.
Adv. Dr. P. Krishna Das – Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions, Presided over the function; in his presidential address, he said that Nehru Group of Institutions has been doing well in higher education and thousands of students have been graduated every year in the group. He informed that the students graduated in NGI are settled well in their life and leading a happy life. They are encouraged to do well not only in studies but also in sports. Our students are selected for sports both at state and national levels. RIDHI, an honouring ceremony for the placed students, is conducted every year. Our students secure most of the placements in the major placement drive, he said.
Dr. P. Krishna Kumar, CEO and Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions, in his felicitation, proclaimed that NGI had started an international school (CBSE) with a noble aim of providing a quality education to the people in and around Coimbatore on a par with international standards. The newly started school is located in a serene atmosphere. Efficient and experienced teachers are employed to educate the children. Admission is going for classes I to IV, he added.
He said that quality education is provided on a par with international standards at minimal fees. He also said that the school would be expanded to standard XII shortly. He added that Pre- KG to Professional course is provided and those who step into Pre KG would go out with a professional degree.
The programme came to a closure with the vote of thanks by advisor, NGI.
