ASTORIYA 2019 (Inter-Collegiate National Youth Festival)
Astoriya 2019 ( Inter-Collegiate National Youth Festival) Comprising both Cultural and Management Meet was organized on September 20, 2019 by the budding managers under the able guidance of TEAM NIT-MBA as part of the event management practices. It is a signature event organised by Department of Management Studies.
A total 0f 860 students and above from various departments of around 35 colleges participated in this mega event. The students from various colleges show cased their talents and were awarded the prizes both in cash and trophies. ASTORIYA 2019 included both individual and team events ( Total 14 events).
Dr.Guru Selvaraj General Manager-HR & IR , Flow Link System Pvt. Ltd. delivered the Chief Guest Address and Dr.P.Krishnakumar CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions presided the function. Dr.Franklin John, Principal, Nehru College of Management delivered the special address and Dr.K.P.Arulshri Principal, Nehru Institute of Technology felicitated the gathering. Dr.S.Naganandini delivered the welcome address and Dr.Moses Daniel Principal, NIITM distributed the prizes for the winners during the valedictory function in the evening.
The Team NIT-MBA is thankful to the Management, Principal, HOD’s, Faculty, Students and all members of NIT for rendering their support and making this event a grand success. The Team NIT-MBA feels proud of both learning aspirants and budding managers contribution in making this event a memorable one.
