CHAMELEON – Photography Exhibition – 2018
The Department of Visual Communication conducted One day Photography Exhibition, Workshop and Inter Collegiate Photography Competition on 06.09.2018 as part of celebrating World Photography day. Mr. M. Lakshmanan (Senior Photo journalist and wild life photographer) served as the resource person. Dr.Prasanth Koothoor Head-Department of Visual Communication welcomed the chief guest and the gathering. Dr.B.Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College delivered the presidential address. Dr.N.Shani Dean- Academic Affairs felicitated the gathering. The resource person discussed and shared his experience as a photo journalist while working in (Press trust of india). He also asked the students to explore the life of people by travelling and cover the photos in and around various parts of the world. Then the students interacted with the guest and cleared their doubts on photography.As a part of exhibition a photography competition was conducted and I and II prize was given to Mr. Senthil Velavan from VLB Arts and Science College and Mr. Lenil Samuel of SMS College respectively. Mr.Paul.T.Benziker Asst Professor (Viscom) delivered the vote of thanks.
