Talents Day – NEHRU ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE- (Autonomous)
Nehru Arts and Science College organized Talents Day 2018 for the First Year Students on 02.08.2018 at P.K. Das Memorial Auditorium.
Ms. Fathima Shahma, Fine Arts Minister, welcomed the gathering.
Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO and Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions is the chief guest of the function. In his inaugural address he pinpointed if great talent is wired with the passion then it is the shortcut for grand success. He added that young talent is the vocabulary for grand success and it should be energized in the right time to change and innovate new horizon. He stressed that smart mind is polished through these kind of the exposure given to them in the initial stage.
Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College presided over the function. In his felicitation, he greeted the participants and insisted that ability is not about how much talent they have, but what they do with it. He said that everyone is gifted with talents and stressed that when they utilize the talent in the best way, it will lead them to acquire new skills along the way. He also encouraged the students to exhibit their showmanship with their maximum potentiality.
Talent Day emphasized the latent potential and great talents of the first year students, cultural events which is the part and parcel of the celebration gives them fresh start. More than twenty five on stage and off- stage events clubbed with literary contest vitalized the young talents to contribute the best in them. It gives the opportunity to showcase their unique talents. Winners of the Competitions are rewarded with the Prizes.
