Science and Robot Fest

Nehru International School orchestrated a remarkable Science and Robot Fest on March 2nd,
2024, underscoring its commitment to fostering innovation and academic excellence. The fest
commenced with great enthusiasm as esteemed guests,

Chief Guest Dr. P. Maniarasan, Principal
of Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, for the grand inauguration ceremony.

The event kicked off with a ceremonial Ribbon Cutting, symbolizing the commencement of a day
filled with scientific exploration and discovery. Throughout the fest, students from classes I to X
captivated visitors with their innovative projects and models, showcased their creativity and
understanding of various scientific concepts. From language studies focused on grammar and
IPA, the Science wing, each presentation reflected the students' ingenuity and academic acumen.

The Robotics fest was equally captivating, with students demonstrating their proficiency in
computer coding and robotic innovation. Principal Mr. K.S. Sivaprakash, in his address,
commended the students for their exceptional contributions and highlighted the importance of
nurturing a culture of innovation and scientific inquiry within the school community. He
emphasized the role of education in empowering students to become critical thinkers and
problem solvers, equipped to tackle the challenges of the future. Chief Guest Dr. P. Maniarasan
also addressed the students, praising the efforts of both students and teachers in organizing such
a successful event. He emphasized the significance of practical, hands-on learning experiences in
supplementing traditional classroom education and fostering a deeper understanding of scientific
principles. Parents also visited and gave wonderful feedback about the event. The support and
encouragement of the school's management, including Chairman Adv. Dr. P. Krishna Das, CEO
& Secretary Dr. P. Krishnakumar, and Correspondent Dr. Chaitanya Krishnakumar, were
instrumental in making the fest a resounding success. Their dedication to providing a conducive
environment for student innovation and learning were evident throughout the event. Through
hands-on experiences and mentorship from esteemed guests and faculty members, students were
inspired to pursue their passions and strive for excellence in the field of science and technology.
