Republic Day – 2024

Nehru International School celebrated National Integration Day with unparalleled enthusiasm and
patriotic fervour on 26th January 2024. The event kicked off with a soul-stirring rendition of the
Tamilthai Vazthu, setting the stage for a day filled with pride and unity. The Choir Group further
elevated the atmosphere by presenting the School Prayer Song, the gathering with an auspicious
and reverent spirit.
The Head Boy led the congregation in the school Prayer, fostering a collective sense of unity and
reverence among the attendees. Mrs. Priya Suresh, the Headmistress, extended a warm welcome,
emphasized the pivotal role of national integration in fostering a harmonious society.
The crowning moment of the morning was the Flag Hoisting ceremony, conducted by the
esteemed Principal, Mr. K.S. Sivaprakash. Accompanied by the National Anthem, this patriotic act
symbolized the unwavering commitment of NIS to the principles of unity and integrity. The Head
Girl then recited the Pledge, a poignant moment reaffirming the dedication to the ideals of the
nation.
In his Address, Mr. K.S. Sivaprakash passionately highlighted the significance of National
Integration Day and its pivotal role in shaping responsible and patriotic citizens. The celebration
embraced the linguistic diversity of the nation, with heartfelt speeches delivered in both English

The event reached its zenith with a Vote of Thanks delivered by P.C. Adharshini, expressing
