Freshers Day | Nehru Institute of Technology

The inaugural ceremony of the I year B.E. & B.Tech. was held on 14.09.2023. A very special freshers’ day function paved way for the commencement of the new academic year. The ceremony started with the lighting the lamp by the dignitaries, parents and students. The program was presided over by Dr.P.Krishna Das, Chairman & Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions. He motivated the students to involve in startsup, placement, etc.

Dr.P.Krishna Kumar, CEO & Secretary encouraged the students to concentrate on studies and focus on career growth and given assurance for the students placement. Dr. M.Sivaraja, Principal, NIT shared achievements of the institution, present final year UG & PG students Placed with more than 6 lakhs per annum, Special appreciation to the Agricultural Engineering department HoD and Faculty members to make 100% result for 2023 passed out students, honored the students council members with badges, Ms.Kaviya, II Food Technology won National level Rifle competitions and appreciated the faculty and students those who won hackathon (startup) with 4 lakhs grant.

Mr. Udaya Sankar, Deputy Director, Govt. Relations, NASSCOM, Chennai motivated the students to achieve their life goal. He promised that he will give free course in nasscom for the selected and interested students. Shri.R.Dhanapal, Kalaignar/Sun Channel, Pattimandram Orator was the guest of honour, graced with his valuable words. He guided the students in the right path and informed the parents to motivate the students. The program marked it conclusion by 01.00 pm.
