AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON INTERNATIONAL WOMENS’DAY
As part of Research project, on 8th March 2023, faculty from Dept.of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Nehru College of Nursing Vaniyamkulam conducted an awareness programme at Nirmala English Medium Higher Secondary School, Erumapetty. Topic: Menstruation. Problem statement for the research:“Effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge about menstruation among adolescent girls in a selected school of Erumapetty GramaPanchayat”.The faculty members were Lt Col (Asso.Prof) Regina.P.F., Asst.Prof. Dana Baby and Lecturer Delphy Varghese. Total students attended: 117. They were very attentive and enthusiastic. Classes conducted by Power point presentation. The doubts were clarified. Principal and the team was very co-operative and they appreciated our programme. Feedback from the students were commendable.
