A nurse must be ready to provide care whenever there is a necessity. Sree Chinakkathoor Bhagavathy Temple hosts one of the most unique and colourful poorams (temple festivals) in Kerala. The 7th batch students of Nehru college of nursing had got an opportunity to be a part of the first aid & emergency clinic on this festival organized by our parent institution P K DAS INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE which is always a socially responsible institution . Mr Alen Cheriyan , Mr. Midilaj Yacob , Mr Vishnu from our outgoing batch worked skillfully along with the expert health workers from PKDIMS , & was a great benefit to those present for the festival. This kind of experiences makes the students socially responsible & really help them fit them to fight during an emergency
