The Mental health department & 3rd year students of Nehru College of Nursing organized onam celebration & an amusement event for the inmates of Manomithra Institute of medical sciences, one of the nation’s leading inpatient psychiatric hospitals on 20th Aug 2022.. The aim of the program was to encage & entertain the inmates there & bring them in to the mode of celebrating of one of the authentic festival of Kerala ONAM. The place was made festive with flowers, decorations by The MEDALLIONS. They have performed marvelous Thiruvathirakkali & onam songs which expresses the Kerala tradition & rituals of onam. All the patients & staffs of Manomithra offerd a great participation in the event. The MEDALLIONS of NCN really need pronounced admiration for organizing such an impressive program which was a warm breeze to the inmates of Manomithra who struggle in the shores of mental instability.
