TRIBUTE TO FOUNDER CHAIRMAN
The great leader & the founder chairman of NEHRU GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS Late Sri. P.K. Das, F.I.E, F.I (Mech. E), A.F.R.Ae.S (London), M.Ae. S.I, M.S (Engg.), C. (Engg) . Starting from scratch in 1968, this great leader spent each ounce of his energy and sweat to establish 12 prestigious institutions in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. He was hardly 29 years of age, when he began to establish as an academician and an Institution Builder. Our Chairman’s name is synonymous with Nehru Colleges.
With great privilege & honor Nehru College of nursing promoted by Nehru Educational and Charitable Trust organized a tribute to our founder chairman on his remembrance day 9th June 2022. All the staff & students assembled in the campus & the program stared with one minute silent prayer as remembrance of our great founder chairman Late Sri P K DAS followed by a prayer song by the 1st year BSc Nursing students. Our Principal Dr. Kavithamole P J addressed the gathering & reminded the staff & students about the great achievements also the vision & mission of our founder chairman & emphasized that it’s the responsibility of each & everyone in this institution to follow the great path lead by him. Following this all the staff & students of Nehru College of nursing had done the honoring by lighting the candle of remembrance & worship with flowers. It is really grateful to each & everyone in the NCN family to be a part of such an event on the day of remembrance of our founder chairman
