TUBERCULOSIS AWARENESS PROGRAMME 2022
World TB Day is observed on March 24 each year to raise public awareness and understanding about one of the world’s deadliest infectious killers – TB and it’s devastating health, social and economic impact on people around the world. March 24 marks the day in 1882 when Dr Robert Koch announced that he had discovered the bacterium that causes TB, which opened the way towards diagnosing and curing this disease.
Department of community health Nursing conducted an awareness program on world Tuberculosis day on 24 March 2022 in Nehru College Of Nursing Multipurpose Hall with the Theme:Invest to end TB -Save lives .The program was hosted by Zephyres of Nehru College Of Nursing, Ms.Aparna A S ( 4th Year BSc Nursing) delivered the welcome address & the theme revealing was done by Ms .Sangeetha ( 4th year BSc Nursing) .Poster presentation and Mime competition was conducted based up on the theme to deliver the message regarding Tuberculosis. The programme end with vote of thanks was given by Mss.Aparna S Anilkumar( 4th year BSc Nursing )
