Skill development programs aim to acknowledge the ability of the youth and extend their support by serving them with the proper guidance; infrastructure, opportunities, and encouragement that help them achieve their ambitions. .The NSS unit of Nehru college of Nursing held a training programme in coordination with ICDS for the 1^st year BSc Nursing students on 23^rd March 2022 in the NCN Multipurpose Hall. The speaker for the session was Dr.Praseedha PG,MD(Ayurvedha) Specialist Medical Officer ,Ayushgram Project,Ottappalam Block. All the 1^st year BSc Nursing students of NCN had attended this training.  The main objective of the Skill development programme was to provide adequate training in market-relevant skills & to create opportunities for the development of talent within the students and improve the overall scope and space for underdeveloped sectors. It builds self-esteem, confidence and leadership skills. The session was really motivating & lifted the students in mode to explore more in life. This was really a golden opportunity for the NCN students to attend such an informative session organized by well enlightened personalities from the Government sector in the field of health care.
