Extreme heat, coupled with drier conditions can significantly alter animal’s habitat. Due to the severe drought condition, most of the water bodies have become dry. The hardness of summer is affecting not only the humans but all other living creatures in the world. As human being is more intelligent & things are much easy for them to access it is their responsibility to protect the other fellow beings in the earth.
Being the angels in the earth, the social conscience of our little angels have no boundaries. The NSS volunteers & College union of NEHRU COLLEGE OF NURSING had begun an initiative to save the birds & animals from the severe draught “THANNEERKKUDAM 2K22” on 16th MARCH 2022 with an aim to provide water for the birds & animals to cope up in the drought. Dr KAVITHA MOLE P J (Principal NCN) addressed the gathering & made the students aware about the necessity of such an initiative in the current status & appreciated the effort of the NSS team & college union. NSS Co coordinator Prof. ABADUL NISTHAR & college union chairman MR. ANSHID RAHMAN had done the inauguration by filling the pots with holy water of mercy. It is commendable that such an initiative are being taken by the students to spread the showers of care & concern for their fellow beings .
