International women’s Day

Nehru Institute of Allied Health Sciences conducted International Women’s Day celebration on 08.03.2022 at 02.00 P.M at seminar hall, NIHS. First batch students presented with various events on stage. Ms.Kavisri, student of NIHS, delivered the welcome speech and welcomed the management, faculties, students and parents. She welcomed the chief guest to address the gathering. Dr.Vijayaraj Vediappan, Principal NCPT, presented a flower bouquet to the chief guest.

The Chief Guest Dr.R.Radhika senior consultant, RR hospital, Coimbatore, General Surgeon CMC said that women are already empowered and she asked to stop pleading for empowerment. She adviced male students to respect women in all aspects. She also added that women should not cross the limits in the name of empowerment and do her duties to perfection. She spoke about the incidence of cancers in younger age and advised to avoid too much usage of mobile phones and spend time with elder generation. She finished her speech with a word saying to wish all mothers first on every women’s day.

After her speech Dr.T. Dhanalakshmi, Course Coordinator, NIHS  delivered the felicitation, 

The function proceeded with various events by students. Ms. Shabana student of NIHS delivered the vote of thanks to the gathering.

The function ended with NATIONAL ANTHEM.
