INTERNATIONAL NURSE’S DAY 2021
This global COVID-19 pandemic has shown the world the important role that nurses play in keeping people healthy across the lifespan, In 2021, this will focus on the changes to and innovations in nursing and how this will ultimately shape the future of healthcare. The pandemic has exposed the weaknesses in our health systems and the enormous pressures in nurses are working under, as well as shining a light on their incredible commitment and courage. The theme for nurses day in 2021 is , Nurses: A voice to Lead – A vision for future healthcare. The IND2021 theme reflects on the impact of COVID-19 on the health system and the nursing profession and how these might be affected into the future. Nurses, as the largest healthcare profession, must play an integral part in planning the future of healthcare.
The Student Nurse’s association of NEHRU COLLEGE OF NURSING organized THE INTERNATIONAL NURSE’S DAY 2021 with various competitions like Poster making, Article writing and foot note writing. All the talented student nurse’s of NCN very eagerly participated in all the competitions.. Evaluations for Poster making was done by Mr AMIT JAISWA (MVA in Creative Painting, Art and crafts teacher) Allen house public school Vrindavan Yojna Lucknow; Article writing by Mrs.ANUSWEENA (Associate,Professor Psychiatry HOD ) Nehru college of nursing Vaniyamkulam and Foot note writing by Mr RIYAS ( VarikkodanDeputy Nurse Manager) , Kettering General Hospital.
All the articles of the competition was tied with very informative & powerful thoughts of 2021 international nurse’s day All these things really give the expectation that that these student nurses who are going to be the heart core of the health care system will really explore in their profession & will be a great voice to lead..!
