HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON DRUG ADDICTION

Drug addiction has become a great threat for the people of India. A large number of people especially the young generation are addicted to drugs. Mainly the young boys and girls are the victims of drug addiction. Nowadays drug addicts are found everywhere in the streets, in the parks, and even in the educational institutions. The number of drug addicts is increasing day by day. It is known that most of them are get addicted to drugs at their teenage. When they realize the consequences of drug addiction, it is too late. They want to shirk off the habit, but they cannot.

The final consequence of drug is very devastating. It causes death by severe affliction and suffering. The parents, the government, and the conscious citizens should come forward to take initiatives with a view to putting an end to this problem.

On behalf of that the faculties of Nehru College of Nursing conducted awareness programme on Drug Addiction (SAY NO TO DRUGS) at Providence College Erumapetty in collaboration with Lions Club 318-D Erumapetty on 4-2-2021.It was well appreciated by the Lions Club Members and college students .
