AERO PLUS 2K19 – AVIATION EXHIBITION
Coimbatore, October 24, 2019: Renowned in Coimbatore and Kerala region, “Nehru Group of Institutions” has been providing the Best Educational Services for the past 51 years.
Part of this group Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied sciences is conducting “AERPLUS 2K19” Exhibition from today 24th Oct 2019 at NCAAS Campus, Palakkad Road, Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore.
This exhibition is for +1 and +2 Students and will be on 24th and 25th October from morning “09:30AM – 02:30 PM“.
Training Manager Mr. A Ramesh Babu welcomed the Dignitaries and Guests, “AEROPLUS 2K19” was inaugurated by Mr. B. JAYAKRISHNAN, COMMANDANT, Rapid Action Force, Coimbatore.

During the speech Dr. P. Krishna Kumar CEO & Secretary said, these two days students can avail good opportunity to have clear awareness in the field of Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance also its future development.
Day by day uses of airline services are increasing, and everyone wants to use these services; Airline business is growing, more new airlines are starting and Government polices are also encourages the air transportation services. Development in this field is enormous. We can remember few days back “Quanta’s Airline Aeroplane has flown 19 Hrs continuously non-stop from New York, America to Sydney, Australia “.
In this exhibition, the aircrafts Hawker HS 125A, King Air C-90, Cessna 150 aircraft, Enstrom F 28 helicopter, Grummen American AA-1 aircraft, Bell 47 G-5 helicopter, HT-2 aircraft which are in operational condition are being displayed.
Aircraft components, parts and rare pictures of aircrafts depicting various models and variants are also displayed.
Model Airport covering more than 5000 Sqft is attractive and worth seeing.
Quad copter flying during the exhibition also attracted the guests and students
Student Projects related to Aviation Maintenance are also displayed with explanations.
To add Joyce among the students a luck draw has been arranged, lucky student will have a chance to occupy pilot seat in aircraft and helicopter during Engine Run.
Entry is free for Students; they can participate in the events like elocution in Tamil and English. Aero Modeling, Drawing, and ‘Spell Bee’ competitions are also being conducted.
