DAY 1:
The first day of Swatch Bharat Summer Internship Program (SBSI2.0) was flagged off and inaugurated by the Hon’ble Principal. About 70 NSS volunteers from NASC participated in the program.. Day 1 program of Swatch Bharat was conducted in Coimbatore Railway Station. The program was started with an awareness rally in front of the railway station followed by cleaning tracks inside the station.
DAY 2:
The Second day of Swatch Bharat Summer Internship program (SBSI2.0) was conducted in Coimbatore Railway Station. The program started with an awareness program on Plastic wastes and management followed by cleaning tracks inside the station.
DAY 3:
The Third day of Swatch Bharat Summer Internship program (SBSI2.0) was conducted in Nachipalayam Village. The students conducted an awareness rally on afforestration, Water conservation and avoiding plastics. Followed by the rally, students involved in collecting plastic wastes from roadside and cleaned the village.
DAY 4:
The fourth day of Swatch Bharat Summer Internship program (SBSI2.0) was conducted in Coimbatore Railway Station. The program started by issuing tracks to the general public to spread awareness on plastic wastes and management followed by cleaning tracks inside the station.
DAY 5:
The Fifth day of Swatch Bharat Summer Internship program (SBSI2.0) was conducted in Mookkarai and Nachipalayam Village. The students planted more than 100 saplings in the village. People in the village greatly cooperated with the volunteers and extended their support towards this initiative.
DAY 6:
The Sixth day of Swatch Bharat Summer Internship program (SBSI2.0) was conducted in Pachapalayam Village. The students conducted an awareness program in Government Upper primary school in the village. Topics on Afforestration, Rainwater Harvesting and Avoid Plastics were discussed with school students. Followed by the program, students involved in collecting plastic wastes from roadside and cleaned the nachipalayam village.
DAY 7:
The Seventh day of Swatch Bharat Summer Internship program (SBSI2.0) was conducted in Pachapalayam Village. The students conducted an awareness program in Government Upper primary school in the village. Topics on Afforestration, Rainwater Harvesting and Avoid Plastics were discussed with school students.
