VISWAS forum inaugurated at Nehru Academy of Law

A volunteer group for college students constituted by VISWAS (Victims Information, Sensitization, Welfare and Assistance Society) an NGO, at the Nehru Academy of Law, Lakkidi was inaugurated by social activist Uma Preman on 04 February 2019.

Many of the leaders who fought in the freedom movement were barristers, she said.

She encouraged the students to understand the problems of the common man and undertake social service. Nehru Academy of Law principal Dr P.D Sebastian presided over the meet.

VISWAS secretary P Premnath delivered the main speech. VISWAS volunteer group coordinator R Devikripa spoke.

Vice Principal S Krishnamoorthy welcomed the gathering and A P Unnikrishnan proposed a vote of thanks.
