Tamil Mandram Inauguration

Tamil Mandram of Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology was inaugurated by Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary Nehru Group of Institutions, He said that from childhood onwards people entertain contradictory thoughts. So, by reading books that could be avoided, because books could develop our words and thoughts. The habitual actions which help us to make ourselves high must be developed. He insisted that not only the text books but also the other books must be read by the students. He affirmed that knowledge is endless and the pursuit of seeking knowledge for self-promotion through books should continue. Tamil Nadu.

The function was held at PK Das Auditorium at 11 am and Dr. P Maniiarasan , Principal welcomed the gathering, Dean Academic of the College Dr. N. K Sakthivel presided the function and Guest of Honour Guinness Record Holder Mr. KMG Athi Pandian also participated the programme. During his talk, he said that women as Sakthi wield a supreme power and one can ward off the evil in the presence of Maha-Sakthi. The speaker extolled the educational services of Nehru Institutions and acknowledged that their participation in elevating the status of higher education, especially women education, is a great boon to the stakeholders. He continued that ninety percent of women are getting education nowadays and they are becoming more intelligent. He emphasized that the known is always a drop and the unknown is an ocean and therefore one has to learn forever in order to keep growing. He encouraged the students to show a reverential attitude to Tamil, which is a classical language. He quoted a few memorable lines both from the ancient and modern poetry. He also infused a sense of humour while addressing the audience.  Overall Coordinator Dr. KR. Sentihlkumar Librarian of NIET proposed a vote of thanks.
