Independence Day Celebrations

Nehru Arts and Science College celebrated ’72 Independence Day’ on

15-08-2018. The Function started with the prayer song. Dr.Shani, Dean Academic affairs welcomed the gathering.

Dr. Anirudhan, Principal   delivered the Presidential address. In his presidential address he highlighted the importance of being a good citizen with the vigor of patriotism. He insisted that the unity as an Indian Citizen irrespective of financial status, religion, colour and creed.

   Dr.R. Jayashree MBBS DLO   Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag.  She shared her valuable thoughts with the students. She stressed the necessity of following the foot print of our Patriot. Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO and Secretary, NGI his Special address He emphasized that India is a nation of ‘Unity in Diversity’.  He advised the students to face the challenges and hurdles with strength and dynamism.

 S.Senthil Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.

Students expressed their patriotic feeling in different languages.  The Function concluded with the National Anthem.
