19th ANNUAL DAY & ADIEU 2017

19th ANNUAL DAY & ADIEU 2017 was solemnized in Nehru Arts and Science College on 18th April 2017.

Dr. N. Shani, Dean, Academic Affairs, welcomed the gathering wished all the final year students to have bright future. Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, in his Presidential Address, stressed the need for Alumni meet and encouraged the students to participate in Alumni Meets in the coming years. He stressed the role of faculty members in bringing the dreams of the students to reality. He also highlighted the values of higher education system which excels students’ to enrich themselves in all walks of life. Dr. P. Suryanarayanan, Former Principal, Law College Coimbatore gave the Inaugural Address and motivated the students for their achievements. He highlighted the importance of the parents’ role to their children and children role to their parents. He summed up with some motivational videos. Dr. J. Rathinamala, Head – Dept. of Microbiology felicitated the gathering. She appreciated the students for their achievements. She emphasized that the students must be trained on the basis of the real need of the hour. Dr. R. Vithya Prabha, Convenor – ADIEU 2017 proposed Vote of Thanks

Endowment Awards

The history of NASC, twenty different endowment awards has been instituted in the field of Science, Arts, Humanities and Physical Education. The endowment awards were sponsored by various Companies and Organizations Students were awarded with certificates and Rs. 5000 cash. More than 500 awards like Shri. P.K.Das Memorial Best Faculty award were conferred. Best Outgoing Award Department wise was awarded with cash prize of Rs. 5000, Memento and Certificate
