National Institute of Personnel Management(NIPM) had a student chapter opening on 15th January 2020. Nehru School of Management is the first management school in Thrissur district to get the membership of NIPM. The HR Conclave was held in collaboration with the Kerala chapter of NIPM in Nehru School of Management inaugurated by Kochi Metro HR General Manager, Dr. A.J. Augustine. The theme was "Skills expected by the corporate community from MBA student". Advocate Dr.P.Krishnadas ,Chairman and Managing Trustee, NGI presided over the conclave. Dr.T.Ambikadevi Amma, Principal NCERC, Dr.Sudeep Marar, HOD MCA department, Miss Swathy and Miss. Sreeraja MR spoke.Membership certificates were handed over by Dr.A.J. Augustine, NIPM Kerala chapter representative and Kochi Metro HR General Manager. Release of placement brochure was done by Mr.G.Anilkumar, Head(HR and Administration) Apollo Tyres Limited and Advocate Dr.P.Krishnadas , Chairman and Managing Trustee-NGI. The panel discussion was done by Dr.A.J.Augustine Kochi Metro HR General Manager, Apollo Tyres HR Head Mr.G.Anilkumar and Glowmind recruitment consultant and director Miss.Kshama Sandeep.
